 Famous fine art institute/universities from the Lancang-Mekong region visited Chongqing, focusing on cultural design of the China-Laos Railway stations

     Recently the "Beauty of Mutual Learning - International Workshop on Cultural Space Design of China-Laos Railway Stations" was launched at the Sichuan Fine Art Institute (SCFAI). The event is organized by the Department of Environmental Design in the School of Architecture and Environmental Art at SCFAI, in collaboration with the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and with the participation of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chongqing (LNCCIC).

    Representatives from art schools in China, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand conducted research and cultural collection along the China-Laos Railway for nearly two weeks. They focused on the cultural space design of train stations, creating works in various forms such as interior design, architectural design (partial updates), landscape design, exhibition design, and installation art. The goal is to enhance the cultural quality of indoor and outdoor spaces along the China-Laos Railway, promote cultural exchange and integration in tourism, and further promote cooperation and communication in art and design between China and foreign countries.

   This event was carried out in collaboration with the Lao National Institute of Fine Art (LNIFA), the Royal University of Fine Art in Cambodia (RUFA), and the Silpakorn University in Thailand. It included segments such as "Workshop Period,""Workshop Presentation,""Concept Development," and "Work Submission." According to the schedule, representatives from the four art schools conducted research on train stations such as Kunming, Pu'er, Mojiang, Xishuangbanna, Luang Prabang, and Vientiane Capital from June 19th to 30th. They also collected elements of regional cultural characteristics from surrounding ethnic villages, markets, botanical gardens, museums, and other spaces. The workshop eventually produced works under themes such as mountain culture, urban culture, river basin culture, and forest culture, which will be used for a later Southeast Asian touring exhibition.

Ms. Huang Hongchun, Vice Dean of SCFAI, expressed the hope that by focusing on the cultural space design of train stations along the China-Laos Railway, more people can experience the integration of art and life. The event aims to promote environmental protection and sustainable development, facilitate cultural exchange and mutual understanding, explore cross-border art and design cooperation and communication, and promote the internationalization of the creative industry.

Mr. Chindavong, Education and Cultural Counsellor of the Lao Embassy in China, stated that as an important link between the two countries, the design of the interactive spaces in the China-Laos Railway stations should not only meet practical needs but also reflect cultural uniqueness and aesthetic value. He looks forward to joint exploration and shaping of these spaces, making them bridges for cultural exchange, artistic creation, and spiritual communication. "Railway Station is not only a point of transition for regional transportation and trade, but also a window for cultural dissemination," said Daochinda Siharath, Chairman of the Lao National Railway Company.

As one of the co-organizers of this forum, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and industry Chongqing (LNCCIC). In addition to coordinating with various departments of Sichuan Fine Art Institute (SCFAI) for forum preparation, but also surveyed along the China-Laos Railway, prepared of works, will organize local forums and touring plans in Laos; meanwhile LNCCIC also engaged with relevant government agencies, business groups, and art schools in Lancang-Mekong countries four to five months in advance. After in-depth communications, LNCCIC have gained strong support from the Lao National Institute of Fine Art, the Royal University of Fine Art in Cambodia (RUFA), the Lao National Railway Enterprises, and the China-Laos Railway Corporation. Fortunately the respective chairmen and university-level leaders have come to Chongqing to participate. 

 

 

Workshop on Master Of New Technologies Using Services

 University of Technology and Education - The University of Danang Vietnam

In the framework of the Erasmus + Capacity Building MONTUS project, the 13 partners are pleased to meet again onsite in Da Nang for the 6th Workshop planned to develop research, cloud computing /big data/ articficial Intelligence in the environmental sciences and promote its education. 

Indeed, all teams members are involved in the creation of a part of new master degree at the University of Engineering and Technologies in Hanoi, Vietnam : from the steps of the accreditation of the master, to the writing of the syllabus, passing by the organization of thematic workshop and practical workshop applied to the environment as that one : MONTUS deliver practical solutions deployed at three basics level of cloud computing (infrastructure, plateform and software) in the partners countries with computer hardware funded by the project (installed in Hanoi, Phnom Penh and Pathum Thani). The issue of this workshop is also to find solution for publishing reference books linked to courses. We’ll invite in purpose all the panel for a discussion on key use cases illustrating the master issues. 

Some project management meetings contribute also to improve the administrative and financial issues and processes related to a European project funded by the European Union, with theorical presentations such as practical workshops and appointment with project managers from each partners. Partners from Thailand shared their best practices in the field of the management of project.

 This project has heart to strengthen the links between education, research and environmental engineering. Beyond the capacity building in the field of education, our project has the merit to positioning our disciplines into a major issue of contemporary science. As reminder, MONTUS is financed by the European Union One million euros in the framework of Erasmus + Capacity Building. This program funds « transnational partnerships between educational institutions and organizations, training and youth programs in order, promoting cooperation and development ». MONTUS funded for 4 years, gathered around the University of Toulouse 2 Jean Jaures, the National school of architecture (ENSA Toulouse), the International School of Information Processing Sciences (EISTI, Pau campus), University of Ferrara in Italy, university Brussels Vrije, Faculty of Engineering an Technology of Vietnam National University (Hanoi), the Hanoi Architectural University, the Nong Lam university of Ho Chi Minh City, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT – Pathumthani, Thailand), the Walailak University (Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand) and two Cambodian institution in Phnom Penh: the Royal University of Fine Art and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. 

Three associated partners join MONTUS: French Agency of Francophonie (AUF – Asia Pacific, Hanoi), Meteorological Environment Earth Observation (MEEO – Italy), Institute of Agriculture and Environment (IAE, Hanoi) and HUPI cloud computing society (France). In total it’s 60 members who work for MONTUS during 4 years with height workshops alternatively in Europe and in Asia.

កាលពីព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០១៩ សាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទវិចិត្រសិល្បៈ និងក្រុមហ៊ុន ជីប ម៉ុងគ្រុប បានចុះអនុស្សរណៈរួមគ្នា។​ ភាគីហត្ថលេខីគឺលោកបណ្ឌិត ហេង សុផាឌី តំណាងសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទវិចិត្រសិល្បៈ និង លោកបណ្ឌិត អ៊ឹម សុធារិទ្ធ តំណាងក្រុមហ៊ុន ជីប ម៉ុង គ្រុប។ ពិធីចុះហត្ថលេខានេះត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងនៅក្នុងបរិវេណសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទវិចិត្រសិល្បៈដោយមានការចូលរួមជាអធិបតីភាពនិងសក្សីពីសំណាក់ ឯកឧត្តម សោម សុគន្ធ រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីស្តីទីក្រសួងវប្បធម៌និងវិចិត្រសិល្បៈ។

ការចុះហត្ថលេខាលើអនុស្សរណៈនៃការយោគយល់គ្នានេះជាការពង្រីកទំនាក់ទំនងសហប្រតិបត្តិការរវាងគ្នានិងគ្នា និងដើម្បីរួមចំណែកដល់ការអភិរក្ស និងអភិវឌ្ឍមរតកវប្បធម៌ជាតិ។ ជាក់ស្តែងក្រុមហ៊ុន ជីបម៉ុង គ្រុប បានជួយជួសជុលដំបូលអគារ”D” នៃមហាវិទ្យាល័យស្ថាបត្យកម្ម និងនគរោបនីយវិទ្យា ដែលមានសភាពចាស់ទ្រុឌទ្រោម អោយបានល្អប្រសើរឡើងវិញ ប្រកបដោយសាភណ្ឌភាព គុណភាព និងធានាបាននូវសុវត្ថិភាពខ្ពស់។
